The Results are In
Well it was a little frustrating, trying to get our flipped classroom up and running, but the results are in. The average score for Topic 1 math test was a B! Good work families! I keep hearing from wonderful parents who are working with their students through these videos and notes. Unfortunately, I am often hearing about grading or link mistakes, but please don't hesitate to let me know. It helps me improve this. This week's mistakes taught me a lot. Sorry if cost you.

- Making lessons more concise
- Adding the quick quizzes to see what they know.
- Posting next week's lessons so you know which video to watch when (and providing a safety net for those rare occasions I make a mistake :)
Cookie dough Orders due Tuesday, 22 October. Please see the flyer. Accelerated Reader Students have taken their STAR test, and now they can start reading and taking AR tests. They each have a goal and reading level that you can see upon request, or by logging into their account. A handout with code and all was sent home last week. Agenda/log explained We are now turning in logs on Wednesdays and Fridays. This is to simplify the log and give room to write what students want to. The assignment remains to read 20 minutes and to write 3 sentences about what they read. Announcements can be found on the top of each day. Please sign each day and check that student names are recorded. |
